Project Overview
For this project, we developed a new line of chocolate for the hypothetical client, Lukes Drugmart. We wanted to create a fun, yet functional product aimed at alleviating menstruation symptoms, while also offering a sweet indulgence.
A soothing lemon ginger tea flavour.
Oh My God Babe: A blend of avocado, vanilla, and orange.
Super Green: Vegan chocolate packed with magnesium vitamins.
Flower Power: Flower-flavoured chocolate.
Pink Velvet: A collaboration with Wild Rose Brewery.

My Role
I brought the vision to life through the packaging design. I drew inspiration from the Bauhaus design style, creating a modern, geometric and vibrant look. This allowed for each flavour to have its own distinct identity while maintaining a cohesive feel across the line. To reflect the product's connection to cycles, I designed a round stamp logo featuring a waxing crescent moon. The challenge was to ensure each flavour stood out individually, while keeping a unified brand presence for the entire collection.

Reflection
This project pushed me to think outside the box and dive deep into concept development. I started with no clear inspiration, which made it one of the first times I used a mood board to help spark ideas.
Another challenge was balancing creativity with functionality — we wanted the packaging to stand out on shelves while also reinforcing the product’s purpose.
It forced me to think strategically about how each design communicated the product’s flavours, benefits, and overall vibe. It was one of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on, especially seeing the designs come together.

Bonus fact: the 'Oh My God Babe' version with the mushrooms was one of my first designs. I think we changed the flavour of the chocolate (fair enough, mushroom chocolate sounds a bit too adventurous) so I had to change it, but it remains my favourite out of all of them!

More stuff.
